Subvercity
Our group of friends collectively known as the London Consolidation Crew are having a little exhibition called Subvercity at Delicate Mayhem gallery in Covent Garden. Here’s the blurb:
Dan Salisbury and the Delicate Mayhem Gallery present Subvercity, a group show comprising of artists within London’s infamous urban exploration community, the London Consolidation Crew. After gaining notoriety for scaling the Shard, now Europe’s tallest building, they now present a selection of alternative views from within the city’s structure. The results of their illicit adventures, these beautiful and unique perspectives showcase the many sights of their infiltrations, the curiosities of a complex and growing organism.

The opening night is on 10th of May at 18:00 at the gallery which is at 3 Russell Street, WC2B 5JD there’ll be free drinks etc and we’ll be there to talk about what we do, receive abuse, get accused of ruining UE for everyone, discuss how we make the photos we make and you’ll be able to probe the depths of our brains to try and figure out why we do what we do. I still don’t know.
Anyway, it runs until the 27th of May. Get involved!
I’ve been very, very quiet lately. But the media have been very, very loud. Here’s one from the bandwagon. You’ll probably make more sense of that other pic I posted a while back now.
Pretty jazzy place to spend a night or two. And we did.
First train to nowhere.
URBAN SPELUNKING
More northern UE.
An old one, but it’ll never die. Ever. Even when it’s full of workers and due to open as a hotel in a matter of days I’ll still be sat on the roof re-taking this photo… Except then it’ll have a massive tower where that small building near the foreground is. And I’ll be going up that shortly after.
Ahh the good ol’ days. Derpin’ outta control, giving your lungs a fireproof lining and playing cat n’ mouse with the notorious MC Hammer. Such simple pleasures.
Nowadays we ain’t happy unless we thrust balls deep in the cities living, breathing networks followed by a chase through the streets to avoid being reprimanded on double-bail. Whatever happened.
Ever wondered what the City of London looks like at night from the top of the tallest building in the European Union? Well now ya know.
Don’t worry, I didn’t died. I UE’d.
Blazin’ sunrise UE
Underground still-in-check Military UE. Y’know like that place in Corsham, except this isn’t.
